Tip Replacement - Solid

Experts agree that you should replace your tip yearly to maintain constancy and performance. Worn out cue tips may cause slips and miscues. Old tips will not hold chalk which may lead to unintended spins and deflections, effecting accuracy.

Reasons for tip replacement:

  • Frequency of use - most significant factor

  • Playing style - strain on tip

  • Environmental conditions  - dry / humid environment effecting game play

  • Visual damages - chips, splits, irregular shape

  • Tip type - soft tips provide better control but wear faster than harder tips

Pads protect the ferrule from impact damage, especially on hard shots, and absorb sound for a softer more solid hit.

Reasons to add fiber backing:

  • Ferrule protection - prevents cracking and damaging

  • Sound dampening - creates a quieter more solid sounding hit

  • Impact absorption - acts as a buffer, distributes the shock more evenly

Shaft Cleanings

Shaft Clenanings

Over time your shaft can accumulate chalk residue and dirt from oils in your skin as well as nicks/dents. This may effect shaft performance, inaccurate hits and inconsistent ball spin. Cleaning and conditioning restores shafts smoothness and playability while increasing cue performance for longer life.
